Privacy first by design

Privacy Policy

Metric Range Calculator performs its calculations locally in your browser. We do not collect, store, sell, or transmit your data.

1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Metric Range Calculator Chrome extension (the “Extension”) handles information when you use it. The Extension’s single purpose is to let you select numerical metrics on supported Seller Horizon pages and calculate useful summaries.

2. Information processed by the Extension

When you activate calculator mode and select a range, the Extension reads the selected numerical values and nearby metric labels, titles, tooltips, and accessibility labels from the current page. This page content is used only to identify metrics and calculate sum, average, minimum, and maximum results as appropriate.

Local processing only. Selected page content and calculated results are processed temporarily in your browser. They are not sent to us or to any third party.

3. Website access

The Extension is permitted to run on https://*.sellerhorizon.com/*. This access is necessary to detect the values and metric names you deliberately select on supported reports. The Extension does not monitor unrelated websites, read cookies, access passwords, or collect your browsing history.

4. Clipboard use

If you click Copy, the Extension writes the displayed calculation results to your clipboard so you can paste them elsewhere. It does not read existing clipboard contents. Clipboard access occurs only in response to your explicit action.

5. Collection, storage, and retention

The Extension does not:

  • collect personal information or financial account information;
  • create user profiles or require an account;
  • use cookies, analytics, advertising identifiers, or tracking tools;
  • store selected values or calculation history; or
  • send page content or results to a developer-controlled server.

Because no user data is collected or retained by us, there is no developer-held user data to access, correct, export, or delete.

6. Sharing and sale of data

We do not sell, rent, disclose, or share user data with third parties. We do not use user data for advertising, credit decisions, or any purpose unrelated to the Extension’s calculator functionality.

7. Remote code and security

The Extension does not download or execute remote code. Its executable JavaScript and CSS are included in the installed extension package. Keeping processing on-device and limiting access to the supported website reduces the amount of information exposed outside your browser.

8. Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The Extension’s use of information received from Chrome APIs and website content complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information is used only to provide the user-facing range-calculation feature and is not transferred to others, used for advertising, or made available for human review.

9. Third-party websites

The Extension operates on Seller Horizon, but it is not responsible for that service’s own privacy practices. Your use of Seller Horizon remains subject to the policies and terms provided by its operator.

10. Children’s privacy

The Extension is a business productivity tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

11. Changes to this policy

If the Extension’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before the change is released, and the “Last updated” date above will be revised. Any required disclosures or consent will be provided in accordance with applicable Chrome Web Store policies.

12. Contact

For privacy questions or support, please use the developer contact or support channel listed on the Metric Range Calculator page in the Chrome Web Store.
